Jim Hamilton
Executive VP of Asset Management
Mr. Hamilton is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s investment management, including leasing, property operations and the execution of property business plans. He has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience including asset management, leasing and acquisitions.
Prior to joining HP Investors, Mr. Hamilton was the Vice President of Acquisitions for Brixton Capital, where he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, structuring, due diligence, and investment strategy development of commercial and multifamily investments across Texas and the Western US.
This experience included successful the acquisition and disposition of over 20 assets properties totaling $800 million in value over a four- year period.
Prior to joining Brixton Capital, Jim spent 13 years acquiring and asset managing office, industrial and retail properties throughout Southern California on behalf of two institutionally capitalized owner/operators. During this period, he led the transaction origination and execution and value-add business plan implementation on properties totaling over 5 million square feet and $628 million in value.
Mr. Hamilton is a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He holds a BS in Economics and Finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
