Jake Dempsey
VP of Acquisitions
Mr. Dempsey is responsible for leading HP Investors’ acquisitions and asset management efforts, including identifying, evaluating, and executing real estate investments across the firm’s target markets in Southern California. He brings over eight years of commercial real estate experience spanning acquisitions and capital markets advisory.
Prior to joining HP Investors, Mr. Dempsey served as Associate Director of Investments at Longfellow Real Estate Partners, a leading life science developer and operator, for five years where he led acquisitions underwriting and deal execution across the firm’s West Coast platform. Prior to Longfellow, Mr. Dempsey served as a Capital Markets Associate at JLL (and formerly HFF) in San Francisco, where he advised on retail, office, and industrial assets on the West Coast.
Mr. Dempsey holds a BBA in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and serves as a Board Member of the NAIOP San Diego Developing Leaders Council.
