MUNICIPAL, A Premium Sport Utility Gear Company, Moving HQ To Dynamic South Oceanside

Creative apparel company co-founded by actor Mark Wahlberg will anchor North County Times Building

HP Investors is excited to announce the recent lease signing with MUNICIPAL at the North County Times building in Oceanside, CA. MUNICIPAL plans to house their operations here including a retail storefront, all totaling over 16,300 SF. San Diego-based HP Investors, LLC (“HPI”) acquired the 52,000 SF building on the corner of South Coast 101 and Cassidy Street on October 22nd, 2021 and plans a major renovation starting in Q1 2023.

MUNICIPAL is a sport utility gear company that was co-founded by Mark Wahlberg and boasts a mission statement of manufacturing apparel for everyone, to go anywhere and do everything. The company strives to motivate people to “go for it” and overcome any obstacle that gets in their way. The foundation of the brand is built around the notion of inspiring people to always “go for it” — that if we are driven, eager to learn, and not afraid to hustle, no dream is out of reach. By producing inclusive apparel and accessories for all genders, MUNICIPAL is designed to empower everyone to do just this, through fun, creative, comfortable, and motivating pieces.

Harry Arnett, co-founder and CEO of MUNICIPAL, said, “We’re thrilled to have worked with HP Investors to find our future headquarters and home, as well as a flagship retail location here in coastal North San Diego County. We love how HP Investors’ projects not only energize the specific area they’re in but also seamlessly engage the broader community. This particular redevelopment is such a cool match for our brand because of its phenomenal location and being walking distance from where so many of us live and hang out. We’re so excited for people to connect with MUNICIPAL right here in our Oceanside community.”

Sumeet Parekh, Managing Partner at HP Investors, said, “We are excited to bring such a cutting edge, growth company to Oceanside. MUNICIPAL is the first of many dynamic tenants to be a part of the project. We hope, the North County Times building will serve to be a centerpiece for the South Oceanside neighborhood.”

HP Investors will be announcing additional tenants at North County Times soon.
